1. Hubs

  • This is a very basic networking devices and not usually used nowadays
  • No intelligence 
  • This device sends info to computers computer connected to it
  • There is no privacy in this

For example, it is like you are sending a photo to one of your friends but rather than going to one of your friends it will go to all of your friends and whosoever is on the network basically a stupid thing compared to nowadays tech 😂

2. Repeater

  • These networking devices extends the transfer range of the wireless signal 
  • It is used during long-range transmission signals because these signals degrade as they travel  
  • It increases the power of the signal and then transmits it
  • It is also called a regenerator

3. Modem

  • Its full form is modulator-demodulator
  • It convert converts datedata ta into analogue or analogue signal as required
  • They are also high-speed a high-speed requirement of internet
  • It is the device that receives information from the ISP and brings the signal to our homes through also considered also consider as both an input and output device

Network Interface Card (NIC)

  • It helps the computer to connect to the netwNowadaysdays it is built on the computer
  • The communication can either be wireless or through wire also
  • They can be internal or external
  • They have a specific address called MAC address which we will see later
  • In this, we connective  RJ45 port
